IT JOBS

IT jobs represent approximately 2.6% of all employment in the United States. 

According to a recent article published by Certification Magazine, there are tremendous opportunities for growth and advancement in the IT industry.  In fact, 450,000 IT-related jobs went unfilled in 2001 alone.  And, this number is expected to increase to at least 606,000 by 2004.  A surplus of open IT positions exists in today's job market, especially for certified professionals.  TechWeb.com says that the need for skilled IT workers continues to drive up salaries worldwide, making the IT industry a popular career choice.
