THE MIRACLES OF ALLAH

Step 1.  Click here to see the amazing photos

You have now been presented with irrefutable proof of the validity of Islam as shown by the wonderful pictures. Whether you choose to be guided is up to Allah and you. However, in the instance that you have not yet believed because you fear that those pictures were fabricated, I have also added a couple of mathematical and scientific miracles which may be considered amazing. This is what was found in the Quran, which unbelievers claim that the illiterate Mohammed "wrote".

"Over it are nineteen. And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth God intend by this ?"Thus doth God leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind. Nay, verily: By the Moon, And by the Night as it retreateth. And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,-This is but one of the mighty (portents), A warning to mankind." [74:30-36]

In the following fact table, notice the curious usage of the number 19

Sum of the digits of verse 74:35, which says "This (Quran) is one of the great miracles.": 19 = 7 + 4 + 3 + 5

What you just witnessed is a sampling of the facts comprising the mathematical miracle of the highly respected scripture of Islam, the Quran. Yet these facts are just the tip of the iceberg. Though such Quranic mathematical marvels have been discovered only within the last few years (thanks to modern computing power), the scripture has been around for over fourteen centuries with every verse still intact and unchanged to this day.

You might imagine the extreme improbability that such numerical occurrences would occur by chance, especially since the number 19 is relatively large and also prime. As intricate as this phenomenon gets, it is also unfathomable that a human being would ever be able to crank out something like it. Actually, the overwhelming frequency of numerical based signs in critical areas of the Quran serves as a very convincing argument that the whole phenomenon is totally out of the realm of both coincidence and non-divine intervention. But before I go any further,I would like to make it clear now that I am in no way connected with "Submission" or Rashad Khalifa.

Not only does the mathematical phenomenon (above) that you just saw prove that Allah is the "Author of the Quran", but it also proves that not one letter or word or verse was removed from the Quran because if any were removed the whole miracle would no longer work. This was probably the case with the previous scriptures. The Quran does make the assertion that the previous scriptures were valid. Specifically, it speaks of the Torah, Gospel, and Psalms as being God's Words, and that we are to believe in them. The Quran too is a divine scripture that confirms the other books and supersedes them, since it came later. Also, the Quran does not suffer from contradictions or errors in the slightest sense, and will be safeguarded by God and His servants for all generations to come:

Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and absolutely, we will preserve it. [15:9]

Why do they not study the Quran carefully? If it were from other than God, they would have found in it numerous contradictions. [4:82]

Now to digress a bit. As is generally agreed upon by the Abrahamic religions, all true prophets are sent to mankind with convincing proofs from God in the form of one or more miracles. In Islam, all the prophets are accepted, respected, and believed, since they all preached the same message. However, they were human, implying that they were themselves created, and thus they are not elevated to anywhere near the status of God, and they are not worshiped in any way. We make no distinction between any of them because as far as we're concerned, they were all good people chosen by God to spread His common message to the people during their respective eras: that the purpose of life is to worship and obey God. Here are some Quranic verses regarding the miracles of some of God's prophets:

Prophet Moses had his miracles from God, among them this one:

Recall that Moses sought water for his people. We said, "Strike the rock with your staff." Whereupon, twelve springs gushed out therefrom... [2:60]

Prophet Jesus also came with many profound miracles from the Lord, among them this one:

He will speak to the people from the crib, as well as an adult; he will be one of the righteous. [3:46]

Prophet Muhammad, the last prophet, was given the everlasting miracle of the Quran:

This is one of the great miracles. [74:35]

It is interesting to note that God sent His prophets and messengers to a people who would understand the verifiability of the message that was sent. For example, God sent Moses to Pharaoh and his people who at that time were amazing magicians and sorcerers. Therefore, God armed Moses with a greater "magic" (the changing of the rod to a snake) than they could muster . With Jesus, God sent him to a people who were proud of their medical advances and their healing techniques. His prophet's healing of the blind and the sick and raising the dead were acts unmatched by any expert of medicine at that time. Prophet Muhammed came at a time when his people were at their greatest in language and poetry. What then could God give this man to show the people that he was a real prophet? A three-point shot? A fast sprint?A high jump? No, it is only logical that in order to match the talent at the time God sent the Quran, which has stood as the greatest literary work of all time. And for those who claim that it is not as excellent as it is said to be, I give you the challenge of composing just one chapter like it. This challenge had been taken up by the Vatican Church and they have already given up in despair. Do you think you could fare better? Continue reading and then decide.

Miracles in the Glorious Quran that prove that its origin is not human, but divine:

Abdul-Raheem Green said in his Authenticity of the Quran,: Allah laid down a challenge in the Qur’an to mankind in general and to the Arabs in particular: "And if you are in doubt concerning that which we have sent down to our slave (Muhammad) then produce a chapter like it, and call your supporters and helpers besides Allah, if you are truthful!" (Surah al-Baqarah 2:23) The Arabs in the time of Muhammad, peace be upon him, had no civilization to speak of - no magnificent roads or public buildings, nor scientific or medical institutions. In fact, they lived a most primitive and barbarous existence. There was one thing in which they excelled - that was their language. They were extremely fond of poetry, and prided themselves in their poetic abilities. They praised each other, admonished - and even argued - in poetry. There was even an annual market in Uhaz just for poetry - the finest of which was hung on the door of the Ka’abah. The age of Muhammad was a time when the Arabs were at the peak of their linguistic abilities. Indeed, one of the finest poems ever written in Arabic was that of Labaid ibn Rabiyah, who’s poem, when recited at Uhaz, caused the Arabs to prostrate before him in admiration. When this same Labaid began to hear the verses of Qur’an, he embraced Islam, and gave up poetry altogether. When he was once asked to recite some poetry he said: "What! After the Qur’an?" Indeed, many of the Arabs entered into Islam just from hearing the Qur’an, because for them it was a conclusive proof of its Divine origin. They knew that no man could produce such eloquence. The challenge of the Qur’an for man to produce its like is not, as some suppose, merely like the uniqueness of Shakespeare, Shelly, Keats or Homer. The Qur’an differentiated itself in its very structure. Poetry in Arabic falls into sixteen different "Bihar” (rhythmic forms), and other than that they have the speech of soothsayers, rhyming prose, and normal speech. The Qur’an’s form did not fit into any of these categories. It was this that made the Qur’an inimitable, and left the pagan Arabs at a loss as to how they might combat it.

Besides this unique structure, the Quran contains some rather unusual attributes that make it impossible to have been the work of an uneducated shepherd's pen. Observe this miracle below. The following words are terms found in the Quran and the amount of times each word appears in the Quran.

Almost every important term in the Quran appears the same amount of times as one of the nearest synonyms or antonyms of it. There are at least twenty more such terms that have related meanings appearing the same amount of times; however, my Arabic is not good enough to translate it. How is it possible that an "impostor" would be able to do that and at the same time make the Quran in such a coherent and beautiful manner that no one until recently ( after the invention of computers that could find out such things) could have known that things like this existed ?

A Great Miracle

The word "Water" (seas, oceans, lakes) appears 32 times in the Quran
The word "Land" appears 13 times in the Quran

Now,add these numbers. The result is 45 (13+32=45), right? After arriving at this number, let us see the percentage of times water is mentioned in the Quran compared to the total amount of times the words land and water added together are mentioned.
[32/45] (100%) = 71.111111%, which equals the exact percentage of water on earth.

Now let us do the same procedure for land only placing the amount of times land is mentioned (13) instead of the amount that water (32) is mentioned.
[13/45] (100%) = 28.888889 %, which equals the exact percentage of land on earth.

Add the percentages and you come out with 100%. Is it possible that an illiterate shepherd living in the desert in the early 600's could have known any of this? No, it is impossible.Once again, conclusive evidence points to the fact that the Quran is the Word of Allah the One God and Muhammed is His prophet.

A sample of the other miracles in the Quran

Consider the following two verses, which are in reference to someone who committed an evil act.
"Indeed, unless he refrains, we will take him by the forelock (front of the  head). A forelock that is disbelieving and sinful." [96:15 - 96:16]. One might wonder as to why the person's head, rather than the person, is described as being disbelieving
and sinful. Specifically, why is the front of the head specified? Probable reason: Modern physiology tells us that the cerebrum in the front part of the brain is responsible for the planning, motivation, and initiation of behavior (whether good or evil natured). Considering this, it becomes evident why the front of the head is sinful.

Taken from "Amazing Quran" by Gary Miller: "Seeing as back fourteen centuries ago people probably did not understand much about time zones, the Quran's statements about this subject are considerably surprising. The concept that one family is having breakfast as the sun comes up while another family is enjoying the brisk night air is truly something to be marveled at, even in modern time. Indeed, fourteen centuries ago, a man could not travel more than thirty miles in one day, and thus it took him literally months to travel from India to Morocco, for example. And probably , when he was having supper in Morocco, he thought to himself, "Back home in India they are having supper right now." This is because he did not realize that, in the process of traveling, he moved across a time zone. Yet, because it is the words of Allah, the All-Knowing, the Qur'an recognizes and acknowledges such a phenomenon. In an interesting verse it states that when history comes to an end and the Day of Judgment arrives, it will all be occurring in an instant; and this very instant will catch some people in the daytime and some people at night. This clearly illustrates Allah's divine wisdom and His previous knowledge of the existence of time zones, even though such a discovery was non-existent back fourteen centuries ago. Certainly, this phenomenon is not something which is obvious to one's eyes or a result of one's experience, and this fact, in itself, suffices as proof of the Qur'ans authenticity."

Quran 16:68 - " And your Lord inspired the bee( grammar used for female bee), build your dwellings in hills, on trees and in (human's) habitations. " We found out after years of research : A swarm of bees (that collect the honey and build hives) consists of females only. The male bees do not take part in the construction of hive.

After discussing with a friend about the miracles of Allah, here is what he,a non-Muslim(Update:He reverted to Islam on ), had to say:
"There was one thing that I happened to find interesting when I happened to be reading the Qur'an a while back, that although small, was quite interesting:
The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of God is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven
ears, and each ear Hath a hundred grains. God giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth: And God careth for all and He knoweth all things.(Quran 2:261)
Most people would probably overlook this, but corn is a plant native only to the Americas. The people of the Middle East couldn't have possibly known about corn at the time of the Qur'an. Maybe 200 years later when the first West African explorers set up small settlements in the Americas (they don't tell you that in the history books), it might have made its way to the Middle East, but not at that time[meaning the time of the Quran]. I know it's a tiny thing, but still interesting." -Donovan Smith, http://www.integratasolutions.com

The Miracle of the Zam Zam water in Mecca
Research by Tariq Hussain and Moin Uddin Ahmed

Come the Hajj season, and I am reminded of the wonders of Zumzum water. Let me go back to how it all started. In 1971, an Egyptian doctor wrote to the European Press, a letter saying that Zumzum water was not fit for drinking purposes.... I immediately thought that this was just a form of prejudice against the Muslims and that since his statement was based on the  assumption that since the Ka'aba was a shallow place (below sea level) and located in the center of the city of Makkah, the wastewater of the city collecting through the drains fell into well holding the water.  Fortunately, the news came to King Faisal's ears who got extremely angry and decided to disprove the Egyptian doctor's provocative statement. He immediately ordered the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources to investigate and send samples of Zumzum water to European laboratories for testing the potability of the water.  The ministry then instructed the Jeddah Power and Desalination Plants to carry out this task. It was here that I was employed as a desalting engineer (chemical engineer to produce drinking water from sea water). I was chosen to carry out this assignment. At this stage, I remember that I had no idea what the well holding the water looked like. I went to Makkah and reported to the authorities at the Ka'aba explaining my purpose of visit.

They deputed a man to give me whatever help was required. When we reached the well, it was hard for me to believe that a pool of water, more like a small pond, about 18 by 14 feet, was the well that supplied millions of gallons of water every year to hajis ever since it came into existence at the time of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S., many, many centuries ago.I started my investigations and took the dimensions of the well. I asked the man to show me the depth of the well. First he took a shower and descended into the water. Then he straightened his body. I saw that the water level came up to just above his shoulders. His height was around five feet, eight inches. He then started moving from one corner to the other in the well (standing all the while since he was not allowed to dip his head into the water) in search of any inlet or pipeline inside the well to see from where the water came in. However, the man reported that he could not find any inlet or pipeline inside the well. I thought of another idea.

The water could be withdrawn rapidly with the help of a big transfer pump which was installed at the well for the Zumzum water storage tanks. In this way, the water level would drop enabling us to locate the point of entry of the water. Surprisingly, nothing was observed during the pumping period, but I knew that this was the only method by which you could find the entrance of the water to the well. So I decided to repeat the process. But this time I instructed the man to stand still at one place and carefully observe any unusual thing happening inside the well. After a while, he suddenly raised his hands and shouted, "Alhamdollillah(Thanks[or praise] to Allah)! I have found it. The sand is dancing beneath my feet as the water oozes out of the bed of the well."  Then he moved around the well during the pumping period and noticed the same phenomenon everywhere in the well.Actually the flow of water into the well through the bed was equal at every point, thus keeping the level of the water steady. After I finished my observations I took the samples of the water for European laboratories to test. Before I left the Ka'aba, I asked the authorities about the other wells around Makkah.

I was told that these wells were mostly dry. When I reached my office in Jeddah I reported my findings to my boss who listened with great interest but made a very irrational comment that the Zumzum well could be internally connected to the Red Sea. How was it possible when Makkah is about 75 kilometres away from the sea and the wells located before the city usually remains dry? The results of the water samples tested by the European laboratories and the one we analysed in our own laboratory were found to be almost identical. The difference between Zumzum water and other water (city water) was in the quantity of calcium and magnesium salts. The content of these was slightly higher in Zumzum water. This may be why this water refreshes tired hajis, but more significantly, the water contained fluorides that have an effective germicidal action. Moreover, the remarks of the European laboratories showed that the water was fit for drinking. Hence the statement made by the Egyptian doctor was proved false. When this was reported to King Faisal he was extremely pleased and ordered the contradiction of the report in the European Press. In a way, it was a blessing that this study was undertaken to show the chemical composition of the water. In fact, the more you explore, the more wonders surface and you find yourself believing implicitly in the miracles of this water that God bestowed as a gift on the faithful coming from far and wide to the desert land for pilgrimage. Let me sum up some of the features of Zumzum water : This well has never dried up. On the contrary it has always fulfilled the demand for water. It has always maintained the same salt composition and taste ever since it came into existence. Its potability has always been universally recognised as pilgrims from all over the world visit Ka'aba every year for Hajj and umrah, but have never complained about it. Instead, they have always enjoyed the water that refreshes them. Water tastes different at different places.

Zumzum water's appeal has always been universal. This water has never been chemically treated or chlorinated as is the case with water pumped into the cities. Biological growth and vegetation usually takes place in most wells. This makes the water unpalatable owing to the growth of algae causing taste and odour problems. But in the case of the Zumzum water well, there wasn't any sign of biological growth. Centuries ago, Hagar (raa) searched desperately for water in the hills of Safa and Marwa to give to her newly born son Ismail (pbuh) As she ran from one place to another in search of water, her child rubbed his feet against the sand. A pool of water surfaced, and by the grace of God, shaped itself into a well which came to be called Zumzum water. And this is what we have today. Subhan Allah.
